HERE'S HOW WE WORKED WITH A TRAVEL COMPANY'S CLIENT

Travel company's client requested to visit a charitable project which focuses on poverty alleviation. This family is
philanthropic and the head of the family is a very successful business owner who is known for his deal-making
prowess. The travel company had some connections to small local schools, orphanages and conservation
organizations, but not in this issue area.

Indaba was brought in as a special consultant to assess the family's interests and objectives, researched
organizations addressing poverty alleviation (both non-profit and for-profit)  within the specified geographic location,
and refined the options with the client. We also quarterbacked all the details for this portion of the trip.
HERE'S HOW WE WORKED WITH A FAMILY

A family, with children in their late teens and 20's, were planning a family vacation to East Africa (safari). The parents
wanted to use this as a learning opportunity for their children. They wanted to spend some time on either end of the
trip to explore issues around conservation and educating/empowering girls.

Philanthropy Indaba researched appropriate organizations, refined a short list with clients, developed  the itinerary in
conjunction with a travel company - seamlessly incorporating both philanthropic and leisure portions of the trip.
